SANAWOOL SYSTEM® is an innovative natural thermal-insulating, sound-absorbing microcladding system, made with a mat of 100% natural sheep’s wool (SANAWOOL), bonded and skim-coated with a natural hydraulic lime-based adhesive/skim coat (SANAKOLL), reinforced in the skim-coat layer with a natural jute mesh (ARMASANA JUTA 105) or glass mesh (ARMAGLASS 160) and finished with a breathable water-repellent fine render (PROTECH SIL I – THERM when applied externally) or with a breathable potassium silicate paint (SANAXIL P – THERM when applied internally).
Installation is simple and safe: the material can be easily cut and adapted without special equipment and does not require the use of specific protective devices, ensuring maximum practicality during installation.
SANAWOOL SYSTEM® is designed to improve the thermal and acoustic comfort of buildings, promote the breathability of structures and ensure proper management of internal humidity.
The base product, the SANAWOOL mat, is made exclusively from pure recycled sheep’s wool, through low-energy-consumption mechanical processing and without the use of glues, resins or synthetic fibres. A natural, sustainable and efficient choice, ideal for green building, energy upgrading and renovation projects. SANAWOOL is available in rolls, with various densities and thicknesses, and is particularly suited to the thermal correction of traditional masonry, timber structures, metal constructions, external insulation systems, plasterboard walls and false ceilings.
