Throughout our now forty years of activity in the specialised construction sector, we have always sought to develop products and technologies capable of offering concrete, serious and technically sustainable solutions, without ever yielding to the temptation of proposing easy promises or unrealistic results.
From this philosophy, SANAWALL was born.
SANAWALL was not conceived to offer miracle solutions, nor to claim that reduced-thickness systems can replace or match, in absolute terms, the thermal performance of the more well-known and established traditional insulation systems currently on the market, such as high-thickness EPS external insulation, wood fibre, rock wool, high-thickness cork or other certified thermal insulation technologies.
It would not be correct to say so. And we will never say it.
Our project stems instead from a very simple consideration.
There are a great many real situations in which it is not possible to intervene with substantial insulation thicknesses: existing buildings, architectural constraints, dimensional issues, building renovation needs, economic limits or simply conditions in which it becomes necessary to seek different solutions that are lighter and less invasive. It is precisely in these contexts that SANAWALL aims to offer its contribution.
The solutions within the project — insulating render systems (SANAWARME SYSTEM), micro external insulation made with a polyester fabric coating (SANADRY SYSTEM) or with a sheep’s wool-based one (SANAWOLL SYSTEM), sprayed cork coating (SANACORK SYSTEM) and thermal paints (SANAXIL and PROTECH SIL THERM) — are not proposed as absolute alternatives to traditional high-thickness insulation systems.
Instead, for what they are able to offer, they represent a further possibility.
A set of solutions designed to contribute to the improvement of living comfort, through materials selected with particular attention to the naturalness of the formulations, to compatibility with the principles of green building and to the desire to offer construction systems that respect the balance between performance, healthiness and sustainability.
We are perfectly aware that a few millimetres or reduced thicknesses cannot generate results comparable to traditional high-thickness insulation systems. Applied physics cannot be circumvented.
But we know equally well that, under certain application conditions, even limited interventions can contribute significantly to the improvement of the perception of interior comfort, of living quality and of the general well-being of spaces.
This is the message we wish to convey: transparency above all.
We do not want anyone to think that SANAWALL sells illusions, conceals technical reality or promises performance that could not be demonstrated.
Our objective is not to convince the market that miraculous shortcuts exist. Our objective is to offer serious, sincere and technically coherent solutions for those who wish to improve living comfort when traditional solutions are not feasible, not desired or simply require different approaches.
We believe that even in the world of technical construction it is possible to communicate with integrity:

  • Without excessive slogans.
  • Without impossible promises.
  • Without telling tales of miracles.

Only by proposing, with seriousness and respect towards the customer, further possibilities for living better in one’s own living spaces. This is SANAWALL.
Nothing more, but certainly nothing less.
